Play money from the 50's

Greetings everyone,
Nothing major, just a little tidbit on some Confederate play money from the 1950's. In 1954 General Mills put out a promotion with their Cheerios cereal, for 25 cents and a box top you could get 9 examples of Confederate currency ranging from the one dollar note to the 1000.00 note.  Cheerios actually produced more Confederate currency than the Confederate government did from 1861 -1865.
Today a set like this is worth about 125.00.

One of the most haunted places in the world

Greetings everyone,
Nothing to do with the Civil War, but I find it most fascinating. My daughter who rides and jumps horses for a living just came back to the states after spending a month with the horses in Europe.
One of the places she stopped in was Paris, and this is one place you have to see, The Catacombs.
Im sure alot of you have been there, but for me being on the other side of the world, Its just something I read about.  Heres a shot she took while she was there.

Best of the Captain 2010 -2012

Greetings everyone,
The title might sound a little egotistical but its not meant to be that way.  Heres an example,  a rock band playing for years, hit a wall with their creativity...what do they do? They do a best of album to keep the interest out there until the creativity comes back, which it will.  Heres some stuff  not necessarily the best, but what I enjoyed doing at the time.

The door gets a place to stay

Greetings everyone,
The old door was taken off and another old door takes its place.
